Episode 10 - Hacking Sport & sailing on the Lulzboat
This
episode is the final for this season, and its a good one! We first
catch up round the table, and hear about Kwasi's trip to Geneva,
whereby he singlehandidly saved Greece from the Euro, and meanwhile,
Julian let slip he is in fact, Batman.
On the topic table this week we talk about those bad dudes at Lulzsec who have been on some Hacking
rampage whilst eating Jam Sarnies & drinking Iron Bru,
and a young man in Essex has been jailed as the kingpin.
Other news includes how technology in sport is a good thing
and actually augmented data is the future, and we talk of its
applications.
Jules finishes with a look back of top trends over the last year and
we give you a taster of more to come from Digibyte later in the year.

Episode 9 - Facebooks tipping & 17 year olds get slammed in the US
In this
episode myself & Julian are alone in a dark studio whilst the
Dark
Knight tops up his tan in Geneva, fixing the Euro Crisis. So we talk
about how Orange are trialling sound wave tech
t-shirts at Glastonbury, and also some poor 17 year old from Derby who ran TVShack is
facing extradtition to the US for illegal copyright infringement
- too far? We leave you to decide. Speaking of too far, Jules gets a
bit sweary shouty and tells us about some great new brand
management & social tools from Vitrue and Mario
delves deeper at Libertine London
We then move on to discuss Apple, oh the almightly Apple, and how they
may restrict the use of their cameras
at gigs and concernts, and Jules hits us up with Twitter's top trends
It also appears we were on the money with the real world hashtag with Virgins
latest social media foray with the #nerdbird.

Episode 8 - Hashtags, Fat Kids' & Fanbois
In this episode, we touched on two really interesting articles. One from the Guardian, and are kids getting fatter, weaker and more incompetent? Lazy parents throwing children in front of consoles, or scared of Paedophiles and would prefer the inner sanctum of the living room!? We discuss. We then moved on with advertising, with Facebook becoming more relevant, & whether that's a good thing!? We then spoke about #Hashtags, and whether its changing the way we communicate both in writing & in emails? @Julianbdavis most recent 'off the wall' input, was how to bring hashtags, (not hash) into the real world get more of him at his website. @Kwasig discussed his 100% good time blog solution, bringing Fanbois into the discussion, @Julianbdavis is churning out quality articles in his blog, and we have a bit of fun, banter, the usual. Its' how we do! Where would we be, without Julians Top Trends, get that here.
The Old Spice advertising campaign was touched & how to develop apps-for-dummies using Buzztouch!

Episode 7 - Apples, Divorces & Cash-money
It was interesting this episode, the Dark Knight of Numbers just well..appeared...and we chatted about app-economy & how peoples attitudes to paying for apps are-a-changing. In between his mighty wit, the King of Realtime needed just a little more time to bring us his top trends, interestingly including Wayne Rooners amazing Twitter spike, and we also talked about the Real Time kings Facebook-Divorce thoughts, and he stands valiantly to his words - listen in!
The king talked about the changing face of social media and exactly how much information can we really consume?
We then got dirty and down with tech, and the recent half munched fruit Developer Conference in San Franciso talking about Lion (non were harmed in the making of this episode by the way) alongside IOS5, iCloud and how Apple really are innovating & leading the way.
Julian Bracey-Davis's (KRT) new blog can be found here, along with Kwasi (DKN) still providing us with a 100% goodtime, at his blog here.
Catch the developer conference? If not, you can stream it from my recent post on my blog here. Enjoy!

Episode 6 - Contactless, Computerless & Counselling
In
this episode we're pleased to welcome back the Dark Knight Mr @kwasig,
and once we'd sorted out our blatantly racist microphone, we hit the
first topic of the 'cloud' & actually, are we further into it
than
ever? Distributed computing confounded our poor King of Realtime whose
Captain Scarlett references lost @mariodc, but we soon had him right on
track with us highlighting Operating systems such as Linux in a browser, alongside 3d
packages in a browser - geez, just what can't you do in one! IT departments get rid of PC's and opt for
thin clients instead? possible!
We then moved into NFC and how the latest announcements from both T Mobile &
02
in regards to contactless payment systems, and how its potentially
going to end up in a Smart Phone near you - is it really something youd
use? What about the Hackers?!
The Real Time King went on to talk about how Social Media is stopping divorce,
although I'd like to point out this article from the Telegraph
along with the usual Top Trends and @maridc highlighted some of the top ten uses for RFID

Episode 5 - Security, Psychology & meeting chics
Hi Digibee's
![]()
There was no Dark Knight of Numbers this week, he's off fluxing space time or something, & doing something with Quadratics, so Mario started off talking about the Social web future, & the five era's of development. Whether the future of the human race when it comes to dating is doomed, we talked & debated, although with Julian highlighting his 'Speed woo'ing' ability. Julian's trends & comments including his work on Worlds Best Bars hitting over 10,000 likes, Bob Dylans birthday & whether trying to suppress comments on Twitter will actually be worthwhile. Injuncting the injunctors who are super injuncting those who injunct - deep stuff indeed. Julian also thanked Mashable for his Trending sources.

Episode 4 - Social Smears & Skype
Hi Digibee's
![]()
This episode we'd trimmed down the fat, 45 minutes in length, 45 minutes of fun & tech talk, 45 minutes well spent. We want to thank our sponsors Server Centre & LM Business Services for sponsoring this episode.
We broke out the discussion on Facebook's smear campaign, and naughty tactics with regards to Google's Buzz V2, I mean....ahem....Social Circle. After that, we touched on amazing use & effect on photographs, from the recent Wembley giant tag campaign, to the Endeavour Shuttle launch, and how a picture really can speak a thousand words, and just as many followers. We couldnt avoid the fact Microsoft have aqquired Skype recentley, so we waxed lyrical about the future of that, along with how Apple's recent stock value overall, has increased and a little insight into some really interesting R&D I happen to know their doing.
Kwas is off to revise, (should we label him the 'Dark Knight of Numbers'? so its just me, and the King of Realtime for next week.
Thanks for listening.
