Episode 3 -  Superinjunction Tastic'

Hi Digibee's

This episode is running slightly fat at an hour, but its a goodie. We catch up with the boys in this weeks 'bytesizes' including the new social media metric analyzer, peerindex Alongside that, we highlighted some great articles including Mashable's 'how safe is it for us to sit down all day & how Open Source, really, as much as people may not admit, isnt so much of a winning formula for business.

We chewed some more fat, and inbetween Kwasi's revising & consulting for Jack and his beanstalk, we highlighted about how Sony's PS network is still down, and we're not quite sure whether they handled it that well, and discussed the whole recent 'super injunction thing' which the media is full of this week,

@julianbdavis talked about his great work on creating Facebook fan pages and the benefits they have, including helping user engagement, reverse exclusivity, & how all that helps Social integration, and also whether we're all hiding behind the web, and throwing out bile & hate at one another.

Episode 2 - Didn't Pippa look grand

Lot's to discuss in Ep2! Once Kwasi managed to stop spilling his pencil lead all over the carpet! We rambled on for nearly an hour! First up was the rather suprising news that Apple recentley overtook Microsoft in overall revenue for the first time in twenty years, knocking Julian for six! From that, we went to discuss how Spotify is no longer free, we went on to call Julian a silly-sausage, and made some pretty definitive statements about how we all WOULD be paying for our playing, the green ball of Spotify goodness is a good thing for us.  We touched on the Royal Wedding & how well it was covered, along with the other major news event, Osama Bin Laden being 'offed' by US Special Forces, and how it was seemingly covered better in digital media, than in print. Is the paper Obsolete? Kwasi made a reference about wanting to touch vinyl!

Kwasi also recommended Lifehackers 'how to get a free education online' which we all found rather useful, and as a bi-fector recommendation, both himself & Jules discussed @OllieHouston 's amazing charity Bike ride.

Thanks this week had to go to www.xobni.com who must simply be the BEST search facility for Outlook, for email generally, and to help actually build useful relationships with your email contacts.  WE ARE ACTUALLY GIVING AWAY TWO FREE LICENSES IN EP3, when we've thought of the best way to give them away, so thanks to www,xobni.com

Episode 1 - Checking out of this hole

This episode, (which is actually episode 7 of ITD), was the first with Kwasi & Julian. In it, we discussed Kwasi's return to Apple equipment after a sabbatical in his Vodafone shaped prison, & that led neatly on to Apple's recent court case for privacy invasion and tracking fiasco. Julian discussed the future of targeted advertising, including how to push fried chicken to the unexpected public, using nothing but an iPhone and some site cell analysis.

Finishing up this 37 minute 100% goodtime podcast, we debated which companies actually get and understand Social Media, and how some companies actually underestimate how much of a full time job it can be! We finished on a high, and came at you with some great Lifehacker articles on the best use of thumb drives and Crashplan, the amazing out-the-box backup solution.
